Our organisation is lobbying our Federal Member Llew O’Brien to advocate on behalf of our community to have a fixed line nbn service provided to bring Weyba Downs in line with neighbouring communities in place of the proposed wireless technology that is unlikely to deliver fast reliable internet, and to avoid the proposed 51 metre tower to be located just 900 metres from the lakes edge which will be a blot on Lake Weyba forever more.
With a federal election looming it is a great time to implore Mr O’Brien to act on behalf of his constituents.
